Amy L McQuigge, Special Projects Coordinator, School for Graduate Studies, SUNY Empire State College. In the School for Graduate Studies, Amy is responsible for the graduate residencies, community space design and facilitation, prior learning assessment, strategic planning, program proposals, and other projects. Amy also focuses on open education initiatives including digital badging, open textbooks, MOOCs, prior learning assessment, and open access publishing. She has presented nationally on several important trends and movements in higher education and alternative student learning methods. Amy is currently working on a Lumina Foundation grant to assess university-level learning at the college. Amy is working on a Ph.D. in Educational Administration and Policy Studies at the University at Albany.
