Dr. Jeffrey J Morgan

Associate Provost for Education, Innovation and Technology, and Professor of Mathematics

Bio

Dr. Morgan has been a professor of mathematics at the University of Houston since 2002, where he served as mathematics department chair from the fall of 2003 to the spring of 2013. He is currently the associate provost for education, innovation and technology. Dr. Morgan is the director the Center for Academic Support and Assessment, a co-director of teachHOUSTON, a researcher, and a passionate instructor. He leads the development of the CourseWare LMS at the University of Houston which gives over 650,000 electronic assessments each semester, and has directed the development of numerous online textbooks, video lecture series, and tens of thousands of electronic problems in the CourseWare database.
