Didier Wernli

Bio

Didier Wernli is Senior Research Associate at the Global Studies Institute of the University of Geneva, Switzerland. He holds medical doctorate (MD) from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Geneva as well as a master degree (MA) in international affairs from the Graduate Institute of International and Development studies. Didier has been involved in the management of global health projects, in areas such as information and communication technologies and education at the University of Geneva. Didier recently led the development of a Master in global health where he now teaches a course on interdisciplinary research and systems thinking. In his current position, Didier develops teaching and research activities at the interface between medicine and international relations. His research interests are on systems approach to the global governance of infectious diseases with a focus on antimicrobial resistance as a problem of global collective action.
