  • This course is for CXOs and other senior executives, regardless of industry or geography. Whether your leadership experience comes from a large for-profit, government or not-for-profit organization, the course is meant to help you structure your organization’s strategy challenges within a framework that could help you practically address those challenges (Brightline's 10 Guiding Principles).

  • This course will best serve individuals who are or have been responsible for strategy implementation within a large-scale organization. Having a firm understanding and real-world experience as to how organizations manage people, resources and time in strategic initiatives, will greatly benefit you.

  • 1. Understand why organizations are being disrupted and the reasons why the strategy-implementation gap exists.

    2. Identify external and internal forces that may impact an organization's ability to execute its strategies.

    3. Comprehend and conceptualize the Brightline's 10 Guiding Principles.

    4. Identify and analyze problems related to your and/or other organizations' ability to execute strategies.

    5. Apply the Brightline's 10 Guiding Principles to address strategy implementation challenges.

    6. Strengthen core competences to successfully deliver strategic initiatives.

  • No. Brightline does not prescribe a specific framework to implement the designed strategy. This course offers a set of guiding principles that overarch the use of any desired methodology or framework.

  • The course is self-paced but structured to be 5 weeks in length, requiring about 2-3 hours per week.

  • Yes! But be sure to follow the link above to activate your voucher. Upon successful completion of the course, your electronic Brightline™ Initiative/Coursera certificate will be added to your Coursera accomplishments page - from there, you can print your certificate or add it to your LinkedIn profile.

  • Not a problem – the course is self-paced. We recommend that you complete the course within 5 weeks, but you won’t be penalized for missing deadlines as long as you earn your certificate within 180 days. However, you might not get enough peer reviews on peer-reviewed assignments if you submit them late.
