The material was very good, and thankfully I can see that my organization is following most of the best practices being taught in this course. I think that it would be especially useful for new organizations, new managers, and those in HR trying to help build an environment where the organization and people excel.

Great course!It's narrated very well and gives you a lot of insight information on practical as well as on theorethical basis. I have beeen working in the HR field for the past five years and learned quite a lot of useful information with this course, would definitely recommend to anybody working in the field!

The course is really nice and useful, but I have experienced painful and stressful technological mistake during the peer-assignment submission. The text box was not allowed me to type smoothly, the mouse often jumped everywhere and it frequently deleted my typing. Thank you very much for checking on this.

Excellent course! Actually all the courses for the HR Management Specialization are great. I've learned more with the 3 courses I have taken so far than what I did in 4 yrs of college. Kudos to the University of Minnesota and The Carlson school for having very competent professors/lecturers.

I learned a lot of good ideas from this class. I am about to start a new job in HR where I will be directly supervising. I have been a little uneasy about the supervision part, and this class gave me a lot of good, practical tips. It was coherent and logical, easy to follow.

This is a course that I really know the importance of Managing Employee Performance. Performance Management and performance appraisal is two separate issues whereby, in performance management, how do we manage the PM from educating all across the board to the rank and file.

Thoroughly enjoyed the course. It was fast-paced and detailed enough to cover some guidance I can use on managing performance. I especially liked the peer-assessed assignment on MBO. I would have appreciated a bit more material on building individual development plans.

The Lecturer was really great. The content of the course was great as well. I don't like the peer review assignment procedure, though it is a good way to make people interact. I would like to see a recommended bibliography list for further reading.
