The course by ISB was pretty comprehensive and informative. It included all the aspects of PM from project planning then status review using earned value analysis then to risk management as well as auditing. It also touched upon the closure of the project and critical path method which refreshed my understanding.

The interview with Mr. Prasun gave an insight into Project Management in the real industry.

Suggestions:

Inclusion of Scrum, stand up, agile in detail would have made it more informative in the context of IT PM.

The course is good but the interview sessions were not sufficiently rich discussion. It may be due to how the questions were framed by the interviewer. The questions were very straight forward, thus the interviewee could not say enough from his experience. Questions could have been framed in such a manner that the interviewee say more about his experiences, which practical way touches the topic taught in the course.

This course needs a lot of improvement. Although the content is vast but too much boring. The instructor needs to add more illustrations to make this course more attractive. Pace of the instructor is throughout same. Undoubtedly, the instructor is very senior and experienced and has a vast amount of knowledge. Almost all the content related to risk,agile and project management is covered in this course.

The overall learning from the course is satisfactory and all the important topics of project management have been covered well. There is only one improvement that I want to suggest is to adopt more practical way of teaching rather than just teaching the definitions and formulas. This increases the scope of participants leaving the course in between which is not good. Thanks!

A well designed, a well taught and very useful course for the people interested in project management.

I would recommend having more detail on risk management, auditing and calculation of performance indices of more sample projects.

The course content is very good and interesting,

The english speaking quality of the presenter is average!

The presentation sometimes contains errors, and sometimes do not correspond to what the presenter actually speaking!

I advice the presenter to improve the quality of the presentation by using texts and photos instead of speaking a whole 15 minutes

The course is well structured except for the last week (week 4) where a series of equations are given and it becomes quite overwhelming to understand them. Probably few equations could have been taken but with more explanations.

It was more of generic project management course than an IT project management course. The content was also too much quantitative based in nature than qualitative. More experience based learning would have been useful.

It contains the essentials of what you need. Definitely the professor is well trained and knows what he's talking about. My only challenge would be, how can we make this more interactive and less boring? Thanks

The course is full of instructions about calculations, I have a slight feeling that all the theory and equations may not be in use for planning and executing projects. Maybe it depends on the organization?

I enjoyed doing this course. Some portions especially in the interviews, the audio was inaudible. In 'Audit' section i felt the content could have been made more interesting.

Revision of Project Management in IT domain was apt with explanations and examples shared by Prof. Rao and interview with Mr. Dutta was also helpful to get real experience

The course is very monotonous. Instead of the instructor reading out the entire thing, some ppt or diagrams would have helped in making it more interactive.

He was very hard listen to and get excited about anything. I would have also liked more slides up on the screen and for a longer amount of time.

It provides a good overview of basics of project management. Interview with industry expert also helps to get some valuable insights.

IT is very good for beginners to be starting with. It helps you to understand basic of project management in an IT company.

Great course with proper structure. Would have been better if more examples and real time scenarios had been show case.

Though the course teaches you IT project management in a crisp way, but I felt that it was a little too fast paced.
