By now, we have many ideas in our discussion forum, initial ideas.

Now read through the ideas posted in these threads, and rate the ones you like.

Inside an idea thread, you can also rate contributions.

And this will help identify those posters who make the most useful contributions.

However, note that if you want to potentially join a group,

you should post a comment in addition to just rating the idea.

Better post, I like your idea because ... and

I would like to join you by doing ..., rather than just cool idea.

The more detailed your comments,

the more likely the idea owner is going to ask you to join her or his group.

At this stage, feel free to rate and comment on many ideas, but

start to be discriminating.

In the end, you will have to be able to join just one team, so

don't spread yourself too thin by commenting on all ideas.

You will quickly lose track of those ideas that are most relevant to you.

The variety and ambition of the ideas is noteworthy.

Please note that if you have not uploaded your ideas already,

you can still have a chance to do it.

Get inspired by looking through the posts from your colleagues and

start brainstorming.

Everyone can develop an idea for

a business and make the world a better place.

Our team is looking forward to see how these ideas will develop.

What is interesting about this process is that you have probably

come across a number of ideas that made you think and get inspired.

And I suspect that your idea has done the same for other fellow colleagues.

You have also come across ideas that you have never considered and

are fascinated by the approach or overall scope.

This process is used to open your ideas to the vast opportunities available to

social entrepreneurs and the variation found all around the world.

And it is also not a bad thing

if you have come across an idea that you prefer over your own.

Perhaps it never occurred to you or

you just like the overall approach found in the post.

Perhaps you were not as ambitious.

This is completely natural.

As previously discussed,

you have presented an idea that includes generally, the mission,

the business idea, the organization, the relationship, the environment.

Your mission is used to focus

the activities you will pursue in forming the business.

Your business idea will challenge and transform into a viable business and

your idea will include a clear understanding of what you are selling,

the costumer to whom you are selling, and ultimately,

why customers will buy your products or services.

Your organization consists of the team of individuals and

groups that are directly involved in the success of the business venture.

This team includes the management staff, volunteers, target population or

clients, board members and investors.

The relationships you develop outline the way your business interacts with

the stakeholders at large.

And these individuals may not be directly linked to the business but

their presence can influence the overall success of your business.

Such relationships may include relationships with vendors, suppliers and

strategic partners.

Finally, the environment consists of the external forces that affect the business.

These are circumstances outside your control that will influence the planning

or operations of the business.

This is an excellent way to compare notes and

to find colleagues who are interested in the same field of interest.

You can even note future opportunities for

collaborations or possible competitors within your region or city.

Testing the ideas with your classmates is important because it

opens the forum to discussion and ultimately, problem solving.

The greater the involvement of the participants to discuss social

entrepreneurship ideas, the more robust and dynamic your project will become.

They are clearly problems within society, and

amazing opportunities to initiate change.

As a useful guide when critiquing your fellow students,

we'll question the business ideas in the following manner.

What specific social problem does the business idea address?

Why is it important?

What is the scale?

What are the contributing factors?

What are the root causes?

Why is this solvable?

What other social approaches have been tried and what are their results?

What would the world look like if this initiative were to succeed?

Consider these questions when reviewing the work of your fellow colleagues and

you can, of course, raise other questions.

This is just a starting point.

Please remember that by entering these conversations, you will also acquire

important insights that can be used to strengthen your proposal.

Keep an open mind and be respectful when you're offering suggestions or opinions.

For future sessions, note who is interested in the same ideas as you,

it might be worth establishing contact so

as to help facilitate your team's building initiative.

You can add comments and use the rating tools available, and

have fun searching through the different ideas.

Enjoy this process.

It will allow you to explore new ventures and opportunities you've never considered.
