I would like to begin by expressing my gratitude to Professor Santos for her lectures that changed my mind, the mood on the positive side, for my friends that make me feel happy to spend their time during the holidays. In addition, my supervisor inspires me to do my best in my job. Things are going well in my life; I bought a new apartment in the best district of my city.

I've really enjoyed this course! Professor Santos had inspiring videos and made it fun as well. The Science of Well-Being included finding your signature strengths as well as happiness surveys. I found that my happiness score increased during this course and that my signature strenth is kindness. I know my real purpose in life and I use it even more after this course.

This class not only helped me overcome obstacles that were interfering with my happiness, it helped me realize and appreciate my true calling and purpose in life. Now I can embrace my role as caregiver fully and joyfully. I kind of feel like Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz. What I thought I needed wasn't off over some rainbow...it was here with me surrounding me all along.

This course was a great experience for me. There weren’t any unnecessary information. All the facts were based on scientific truths and experiments. It was both academic and practical. There were a lof practices to improve our happiness. The tutor is no wonder a professor at Yale University. She was great. I highly recommend it for people who wants to live a happier life.

How often do we take time to study ourselves? This course provides the framework for just that - backed up by real science and an engaging lecturer. This is a course I would highly recommend to anyone looking to carve out space for themselves. It encourages you to take a meaningful look at yourself and your habits and finding opportunities to promote your own happiness.

This was a fantastic course. I completed it during shelter-in-place due to COVID, and it really helped me to have a set of concrete tasks during this time. I learned a lot about myself as well as the science of happiness and well-being, and came out of it with a new habit (daily meditation) which had previously eluded me for years despite saying I wanted to do more of it!

Content, instructor and assignments are excellent. This is an excellent course. The process flow and use of Coursera are a little wonky or difficult. It took me a lot of time to complete this course because I could not understand how to complete all the tasks. So, the operational aspect was a little tough for me, but the content and facilitation (teacher) was incredible.

Thank you for you course you have really helped me when I was feeling very lost with the global pandemic. I liked the mixture of video, reading and you live lectures that was really helpful. This course helped me gain valuable insights into some of the scientific evidence base for happiness and well being and also about positive psychology. I think that what is not mentioned in the course is a life full of meaning and purpose also leads to happiness. Doing a job that you love or having a skill and a passion for something, will also increase one’s happiness.

I recommend this course to everybody. It really helped me in thinking different about what makes me happy.

Coursera: I'd like to buy a certificate, but I noticed that it only says, that I finished the course not the content and the time i spent. I would like to see that too, because if I add that to my CV, nobody will know what it is about except the name of the course:-)

This is a great beginner/introductory course into The Science of Well Being. Throughout the course there are many practical and simple strategies discussed at length that can be used to help increase overall happiness and well-being. It is an engaging course and I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone who are looking to live a happier and more meaningful life.

Laurie Santos is engaging and the course is well-designed and extremely helpful. The research and detailed resources are very much appreciated. I would recommend reviewing all the rewirements at the start of the course and choosing some to work through during the whole time.

I definitely appreciate what I've learned and will continue trying to practice what I've learned.

This was a great course, I put honest effort into listing and working on the information given. If you take the time to do these things it truly helps. I can sit back and be in the moment of life and really see how much good I do have and how beautiful things really are. I'm learning to not let my brain trick me! This is alife changing course. I confess I have listened to it 3 times. Each time I listen to it I learn more and more. I loved listening to the professor and listening to the student’s questions. The last rewirement was just perfect as we are obliged to commit with the challenge. There is no achievement without implementation, without action. I would recommend it 100%

This course is well designed, provides a rabbit hole of references that I could not resist following and forces to practice the material firsthand, allowing the learner to feel the difference. Not only did I learn a lot, I was able to apply my learning in my coaching sessions with clients right away and experience changes in myself as I was practicing the "rewirements".

Thoroughly enjoyed this course. It was practical, but also contained a good amount of academic robustness to make it very meaningful and informed. It certainly changed my views about happiness, what makes us happy as opposed to what we think makes us happy, and gave me the ammunition to make some evidence-based changes to the way I approach life. This was an excellent course! Professor Santos is a thoughtful and engaging speaker. The course had a great structure and balanced the presentation of research, supplemental reading and practical application (the rewirements) very well. I would recommend this course to anyone interested in improving their happiness and being more mindful about their day to day lives.

An outstanding Course! It not only changes you from inside but, you start pinpointing what you have missed in life and you start fixing it than and there only. What a great course. Focusing on well-being is so important. I loved the lectures and guest lectures. To review the studies and have them broken down was eye opening. It was so important to be able to apply what we were learning and measure the results after our rewrites. Reviewing what other students had done was really nice to do because we could share together.

This course changed my perspective on happiness. It taught me happiness is more in simple things we take for granted rather than the materialistic achievements. Meditation is now also an added bonus in my life thanks to the rewirement challenge. I want to thank our lecturer Professor Laurie Santos for making this course available online. Fantastic and enlightening course that is all about how to empower and equip people with tools to achieve wellbeing and happiness.
