[MUSIC] We've covered all the content you need for your mini business plan, so now it's time to write your first draft. Use your networking introduction, notes about your mission statement, the problem or need, the product or service. The company, the marketing ideas and your financial needs. Remember that your goal here is to persuade someone that your product or service will be successful. So use the techniques to make your writing persuasive. There are a few things to remember when your are writing your plan. First make the language a little more formal than when you speak. Review the lessons on tone and formality from the networking course. Make it easy to read by using white space and headings. You might need a list but most of your writing should be in paragraphs. Make sure it is concise. If you can say the same thing in a simpler way, do that. And finally, check your writing for grammar, punctuation, and spelling mistakes. Reviewing the lesson on the language and organization of proposals will be helpful as you write your first draft. Remember that you'll be getting feedback from other people in the course. So it doesn't have to be perfect. You'll have a chance to revise your work based on their feedback. So good luck with completing this milestone. [MUSIC]
