[MUSIC] So dear friends our table is already prepared. We've already prepared the ink in the inkstone. We've already put the brush on the brush first. We've already placed the felt rag on the table and covered it with the calligraphic paper. What comes next what actually else do we need while writing. Some things that you may have even thought of actually like the special vessel for water not the big jar with water that you can put somewhere and use it from time to time. Well, to put those several drops of water into your inkstone how shall you do that? If you have for instance a glass of water a cup of water here. How shall you pour this tiny amount of water into this inkstone. If you pour too much it is going to leak it is going to spread all over your table and ruin everything. Well, that is a very bad idea actually. What is the proper way there are ways of course for instance? You can have a separate brush that you are not going to use for writing that you may put inside the water and then drop several drops of water into this inkstone then repeat it again. It may work though of course those jobs can fly in any direction they want. Nevertheless some of then we'll get into this inkstone and it will be okay, but of course, this is a rather difficult and not secure variant. The best variant is to use a special vessel like this, this vessel can take a very small portion of water may be like 10 or 15 20 grams of water, 20 milliliters of water. And then you can very nicely and easily pour the needed amount into your inkstone and then that's it. But while writing you will find out that the ink inside the inkstone very quickly becomes dense. And this density in time increases and increases and soon it is that dense that you cannot write properly that's the strokes are not written smoothly. That the brush is becoming over dried, because of the density of of the ink. So this kind of vessel can be used during all the process of your writing. You are just adding two three drops of water all the time to your ink and the ink remains perfectly in a perfect condition and is not going to be over danced. Then okay, Is this the only vessel the water vessel that you need while writing of course not before you start you have to water up your brush. So your brush must be that but in a perfect proportion, it must not be that wet that the water pours out of it, but it not must be that dry that it doesn't take the needed amount of ink inside it. So it must be watered in the perfect proportion. That's why you have to have the special vessel to put the brush inside. And then twist it a bit then squeeze the nip of your brush to take the water the not needed amount of water out of it. And begin your writing, okay, but if your brush do you remember that some brushes can be glued with star? So if it is glued with this touch thing, you have to put it into this vessel for maybe half an hour or so until it gets, Soft enough. It sealed until it gets plastic enough to write. So this vessel this water vessel is also a needed thing on your table. Of course any kind of a glass or a cup of something can do but there are special water vessels made especially for calligraphy and that is not too much for the actual goal. We have to write nicely to work with our brush in the way must be done. We have different kinds of vessels for different drinks don't we, we have tea cups and coffee cups. Of course, you can drink coffee from a teacup, but it's not that nice to use a tea cup for coffee. There are different kinds of glasses for different kinds of wine and so on and so forth so we don't find it overwhelming. We find it quite correct to have tea cups for tea and coffee cups for coffee or for instance wine glasses for wine. We think it's a normal way of things. We think it's a normal way to do. Then, why don't we agree that the special vessels for water used in calligraphy is also a common thing. That is also a normal way of preparing the table for the calligraphic exercises. Those vessels have always been produced in China and here we can see the vessel that is a replica of the old thing of meantime the mean person. Of course, this is the modern replica of that and we see the decoration of two dragons and a pearl two dragons playing with a pearl. The traditional symbol used by emperor's it's one of the symbol of the emperor's power these two dragons with the pearl and of course in previous times. This kind of vessel could be used only by an emperor or members of his family. Now you can by sort of a vessel like that and feel yourself an emperor, here on this small vessel, which is done in the shape of a small pot and at the same time this pot resembles. It is either a peach or some other kind of fruit I go. We cannot figure out what exactly and with the decoration of house and the willow tree that also brings us back to the Aesthetics of mean person. It's a very nicely done. It's very aesthetically done and those things of course bring the inspiration to the calligrapher and bring him to the right mood. So the traditional water vessels for calligraphy.
