>> David, that was a really difficult procedure we had today. I would like to give you some feedback on your performance. >> Okay. >> I'd like to hear from you, how do you think that procedure went? >> So overall it was really, really tough. It was just, it was a really long procedure. The bleeding wouldn't stop I, I was feeling I was getting just more and more flustered, and it was taking longer and longer. >> Yeah, let me ask you, have you ever done one of those procedures before? >> No this was my first time. >> Uh-huh. Have you ever seen one before? >> I think I, yeah, I think I've seen one, I think I saw one a couple months ago. >> Did it go like you thought it was going to? >> No. Mm-hm. No, not really. >> Mm-hm. What do you wish you had done differently? >> Well I think, I think if I had prepared beforehand a little bit more, sat down sort of studied the anatomy a little bit better. And maybe, maybe made a plan with one of the other attendings before hand. It probably would have gone a lot more efficiently. And I think the patient would have been prepared that it would have taken that long. And then maybe had, had somebody around that could assist me if, if, if it was going to really take quite that, that much time. >> I think that's an excellent plan. I know oftentimes in medicine that there's a lot of bravado to get a procedure done and not have to bother your senior or bother the attending but we need to keep in mind that there's a patient there every single time. >> Mm-hm. >> And having someone more experienced readily available to help if things get difficult is important. >> Okay. >> Yeah. I appreciate your insight. And look forward to working with you again. >> Okay. Thanks.
