This next unit is called the RIME model.
It comes from Lou Pangaro and
it talks about the reporter, interpreter, manager, educator, model.
It's a model of assessments that we know what level our learner is and
to help bring them to a higher level.
Jenny Christner is going to provide most of this for us.
So let me talk a little bit about the flow of the session.
The first thing we're going to do is talk about the RIME model and
try to help you understand what each of these things are in terms of reporter,
interpreter, manager.
The next segment is a little bit longer, but it's a series of videos,
where I'm going to ask you to watch the video and determine what level of learner
each of those learners are, and to justify why you think they're that learner.
And then we'll provide some, our context and our thoughts about that.
And debrief each of those videos.
The final segment we'll be asking you to come up with your own model,
about how you're going to think, and interpret, and use the RIME model.
Okay. So let's get started.
