Do you have advice if someone's coming in to a new, whether it's country culture, company culture, for the first time? What are some things that they can do to get a sense of awareness about the team and the environment? >> I think the biggest thing, and I would say this across the board, is just to have a level of intellectual curiosity. You have to really want to take yourself out of what you know, and what you think to be right, and this is how things are done, and say, boy, I would really like to learn something new today. I would like to learn something about this culture, or why they do this, or this holiday, or why this is celebrated. And once you have that level of authenticity, people pick up on that, right? When it's authentic, when it's genuine, and they give more of themselves, and you find yourself meeting more toward the middle. Now I think, from professional standpoint, it's very important to make something structured around that. And that's where we talked a little bit about learning new things together, eating together, getting to know each other's families outside of the work environment. Really understanding the holidays and why things are celebrated. So, for me, one of the things that I did was I wanted to learn why certain holidays were celebrated in Nigeria. And once I learned that, I would actually kind of report back to the people who reported to me and say this is what I learned, this is what I think is so great. And thank you for the opportunity for allowing me to learn this. I think Intentionality is extremely important. And having a level of intentionality is something that I saw particularly in China. When I was working with Guanshi Universal, which was the company that I started there, we were actually working with an institution that had a partnership with a Chinese bank. And they intentionally came in and said, well, not only do we want to teach them what we know, but we want to learn these three things. We want to understand why guanxi, which is relationships, are so important in the Chinese culture before you do business, right? We want to understand why credit is not as widely used in China as opposed to in the United States. And then we want to learn about their food and how that directly relates to culture, and how you dine together at a round table instead of a rectangular table. So those three examples, which sound basic. Where the level of intentionality of the organization had coming in and it directly related to the training. How they did business in the partnership that they had with the Chinese institution in China.
