[MUSIC] Let's continue now to our blended resumes. We take all of the elements we had in our traditional resume, and we add in some infographic elements. In this case, I've used a generic icon to represent the applicant. I've used just a few icons to represent the address, the email, and the phone number. And have taken a little bit of space to write in things like creative force, proven leadership. These are words that could get into a hiring manager's head and they could look at your resume completely differently than they would look at a traditional resume that looks like everybody else's. If we want to boost it up a notch we can actually look at something that I found from Microsoft Word. I thought let me take a look at what Microsoft Word has so I can decide whether I would recommend these to my students. But actually if you go up to file and you select new you can type in resume. When you do that, you're going to find a lot of different traditional resume formats. And you can see just a few that have a little bit of extra style just starting to creep into the Microsoft Office templates. So I do want you to keep your eye on that for blended templates and infographic resumes that people might start to upload, that you could use those templates. Of the ones that I saw, I thought that this one was a really good match for a blended resume. It has an area for us to say our proven leadership, our creative force, and it also gives those of you who maybe don't have as much experience an opportunity to use your page differently. It walks you through, what is your objective in this career? What are your skills? What is your experience, your education, your volunteer or leadership experience? When you don't have as much experience and education, I think this would be a really good match for you and I wanted to include it in the blended area. Now let's go even further. This blended resume is bordering on infographic. We have all of that experience that we've listed in the traditional resume before but we've also taken some time to list your professional affiliations which can be important in some fields. In this field being a part of the American Marketing Association is very important. Also we've listed some of the software skills that you have that could be important when you're working in design fields and web fields. Many fields now actually requires software mastery so we've listed some of those there using icons instead of listing the words. And then also we've started a list, not only just regular education but I've lined up continuing development, continuing education here. I've used the logo from the American Marketing Association and listed the trainings that this person has completed. And I've also listed Coursera, because they're starting to take MOOCs on different topics within their field. All of this, again, I'm going to show you how to edit once we get to the infographic resume. So these are your blended resumes, and I would say moving from that first blended resume to the last blended resume that any of these could be submitted when you're initially applying for a job, but I would lean towards the traditional and the first two blended resumes for an initial submission to a job. And then I would lean towards this and the infographic resumes to hand off in an interview or networking situation. So let's move on to infographic resumes now. [MUSIC]
