in this wheel, you can use just simple rocks, feathers, pieces of jewelry,
anything in your life that you create that you identify that might be sacred to you.
So I want you to create, you can make a little altar in your house,
you can do a lot of variety of ways in which you want to create sacred space.
For me, this one is very easy.
And I want to share with you that I have these little fetishes, and
these are little Zuni fetishes that I collected.
And in my creating the medicine wheel, I put the owl in the east because,
and then I call forth the direction of the east, and
where I live in Florida, the ocean, the Atlantic ocean is in the east.
And then, I have the lioness, the Florida panther in the south,
which represents the Everglades in Florida.
So, I'm looking at calling forth the energy of the sun and
the power of the lion.
Then, in the west, I have the bear, in many traditions, this is the healer.
This is the ancient bear, and I put him in the west.
And then I put the corner stone, the crystals, and here, I've got the coyote,
I've got the horse, this is a symbol of my manifestation, which is
a woman holding her child, which is like giving birth to her own creativity.
So when I create sacred space, what I'm hoping to do
is create something in my life that holds my intention.
My intention for this day is that we manifest this course and
that you as a student, wherever you are in the world, embarks on a journey
that is fulfilling and that leads you to your own personal transformation.
And that you're able to heal yourself, others, and your community.
That's my intention for you.
Creating sacred space though is something that I have all over my house.
And I will share you places where I make an altar.
And in my life, sacred space and
the sacred objects are things that I've collected from all over the world.
