And I guess kind of the last, overlapping category, if you will, would be that spirituality or existential reality that people sometimes are trying to meet that need through sex as well, right? >> Yeah. Well, one obvious example that comes to mind is tantra practice, which is one branch of Buddhism. And people actually use sexual practice to attain a desired spiritual outcome. >> Uh-huh. >> But even for people are not religious, it is not difficult to imagine that. Because of the very powerful and sometimes overwhelming or really awesome experience associated with sexual pleasure, like when we talked about ecstasy. It is actually like, sort of like beyond this world. Like sex is something that can transport us above and beyond the common sense realm of experience. So a lot of people don't have difficulty associating it with something that is of a higher plane, a high level of experience, right? What ever you call it, right. So it can be considered transcendental. The other thing, of course, is when you're in a very good sexual relationship, you find that you're completed as an individual, you feel whole. You feel your being, being elevated again to a higher plane. And existentially, to some people, it's really self-affirming. >> Mm-mm. >> It can be very gratifying and this can be compared to the more mundane everyday experience. So I think some people actually crave for that. And it's like a quest for something that is almost spiritual or existential when they're in a sort of blissful, sexual experience. Yeah.
