Now, let's put all that you've learned together into a coherent story. This story starts with the problem. Then moves to the stake holders, the solution, benefits, competition, and differentiators. It's a compelling story right? It should be. It has to be. To gain the support that you need to get through all of the steps to get it to market. So, knowing what you know now, what would you do in the nearer term and longer term to advance towards making your project have meaning. At this point, you need to define for yourself the key milestones of the project. These should be associated with a timeline and ideally a rough budget. For example, what experiments do you need to conduct that will prove the concept behind your project? Are there regulatory and or reimbursement implications? If so, what actions can you take early on, to optimize for success? What resources will you need to accomplish upcoming milestones? What stakeholders must you contact, and why? What expertise are needed along the way? Where do you find them? Are there people who are influencers or whose buy-in is essential moving forward? Are there specific steps that you've learned as a result of this course? That will affect how you progress your project? If so, what are those steps? How will you accomplish them? I hope that you have found this course to be useful. I hope that it affects how you view your project. Whether that's research in a lab, or an idea in your head. The concepts behind Innovation and entrepreneurship, require that you understand at the early stage how to journey along the trail towards the market. Your understanding of the market, opportunity, and stakeholders will inform your actions. I hope that you're more committed than ever to make your work have lasting impact.
