[MUSIC] As we have discussed the general direction of digital transformation, and how we can lead successfully, our organizations into and with this time of change. We would dive deeper into the newest technologies, and how they would impact us and our businesses. If we like it or not, we are already fully immersed in this industrial revolution. It is up to us if we are taking an active role in leveraging the opportunities or let others develop and deliver the solutions and engagement models our current and future customers will appreciate and use. I will remind you of the technologies you should be familiar by now, and provide you with an overview of the new and future technology trends that will transform your business tomorrow. Over the last decades, we have seen the transformation potential of the first technology waves. And notice this, how every transformation appears to happen faster than the previous one. We have seen how technology vendors have come and gone. But the technologies themself, and the capabilities they bring to our customers have only grown, and merged into synergistic experiences. Think about the Internet. Connectivity is now everywhere. Online is really the first engagement with our customers, even for companies like Home Depot, a traditional home improvement retailer. The CEO just mentioned again that their first customer touch is a digital experiences. We talked earlier about the consumer realization of IT. Sophisticated information technology capabilities are available for nearly everybody, small and big organizations and individuals. These IT capabilities are available to everybody with cloud computing. Small startups can compete now with the largest organizations and business models. Social media has transformed how we are communicating and interacting. How we consume media, news, advertising, and even recruiting, are driven by Facebook and LinkedIn. Chat has moved from MSN Messenger and ICQ in the late 90s to Skype and WeChat. Chat box and customer service engagement through chat environments are now absolutely normal in many, many business scenarios. And collaboration towards every place and travel and real offices in many instances already. And last but not least, of course mobile communication. We have, on this planet, now more mobile phones active than people, always connected. SE Internet, cloud computing, and mobile tech have transformed our societies, including how we manage and market. >> The now emerging technologies will build on those initial revolutions and accelerate each other. It will transform our business world faster and faster. So let's look in some of those future trends. Everything is going to be connected. We will have mobile work and remote access. Internet access is going to be everywhere. The data and the capability is in the Cloud. We see autonomous driving, the Internet of Things, omnipresent computer fabric around us with ambient intelligence. In more systems we see natural language processing and natural language understanding, combined with machine learning and artificial intelligence. And last but not least, Blockchain technology is going to be a key driver. It is not only the technologies themselves though, it is how we are using them and who is adopting them, making decisions and creating value models. So here's some other key trends to watch, to put this in perspective. In 2020, 50% of the global workforce will be those millennials. Those people that cannot remember a time without the Internet. We see super apps like We Check in China create end-to-end business experiences, from checks to payment. The peer-to-peer market that started out as a file sharing ultimately created the sharing economy, with Airbnb and Uber. And the collaboration economy, where we have Kickstarter, Indiegogo and even the Blockchain based ICO models now that are connecting resources with innovative environment. The Internet of Things will continue to grow and provide more data than we can even imagine today. In our cities, our cities and our environment will become smarter with sensors, cameras, and artificial intelligence. Business and technology experts are pretty clear, the next big transformative technologies include augmented reality and virtual reality. The Internet of Things, big data, artificial intelligence and block chain technology.
