Hello, everyone, we displayed for you some cases and comments in favour of the traditional Chinese Medicine during the last lecture. So this time we will show you some negative opinions upon the traditional Chinese Medicine. Let's mainly talk about the storms in China about the attack on the traditional Chinese Medicine . So far There have happened four massive storms about the traditional Chinese Medicine so when did the first one happen It was in 1912 At that time, the Beiyang Government gave the excuse that the Traditional Chinese Medicine is incomparable with the Western Medicine in the new published school systems and school rules they excluded the traditional Chinese Medicine, and advocated schools with only the Western Medicine This is a famous case in the recent history in the educational system called the the case of exclusion of the Traditional Chinese Medicine After the news were spread out Mr Yuan Kui who was the originator of the research institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine in Yangzhou gave his negative comments He mentioned the saying that if this can be tolerated, what cannot From then the first argument began In the following year 1913, Wang Daxie, leader of the Educational Ministry of the Beiyang Government , put forword publically for the second time that the Traditional Chinese Medicine should be deleted. Subsequently, the Educational Ministry published the educational disciplines which all excluded the Traditional Chinese Medicine from the Educational System. Therefore, people including Yu Botao, the president of the Shenzhou General Assembly in Shanghai, together with those who were working in the field of the Traditional Chinese Medicine in 19 provinces and municipalities and those who were working in Chinese Medicine Stores such as Tong Rentang Excellent and Xiheniantang organized a petition mission of Medical Aid. They insisted that the Traditional Chinese Medicine should be included in the educational system Under such pressure the government tried to prevaricate on one hand and refused the petition from the field of Tradition Chinese Medicine on the other hand So the first protest ended up with the failure of the Tradition Chinese Medicine After the May Fourth Movement, the contention between the Chinese and Western Medicine was more and more intense At that time Ding Jiangzhong, the geologist had such a couplet If one climbs the mountains, eats meats and abuses the Tradition Chinese Medicine, he will preserver his youth However, to know how to write, drink and speak bureaucratese is very difficult and to do is even more difficult As can be seen, the abuse of the Tradition Chinese Medicine from the intellectuals of Western Medicine was very popular The second time happened in February 1929 when the Ministry of Health of the National Government held the first Central Health Council the Council focused on the abolishment of the Traditional Chinese Medicine At that time people such as Yu Shanxiu put forward four proposals which included the limitation of the operation of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the prohibition of the education in Traditional Chinese Medicine. But considering the fact that the proposals were too close, the Central Health Council weighed the pros and cons and put forward what was ultimately called the measures of implementation for the regulations on seeing a doctor. We give emphasis to the registration of seeing a doctor. the limitation went on until the 19th year of the Republic of China The second was the banning of schools of the Traditional Chinese Medicine The third is the ascription of the non-medical pamphlets such as news magazines and newspaper to introduce seeing a doctor Therefore after the they were published, the abolishment of the Traditional Chinese Medicine could be expected soon So as soon as the proposals came out, they were protested against by the field of Traditional Chinese Medicine On 17th March 281 representatives from all around the country held a congress among medical groups across the country and established the assembly of the national medicine groups They organized the petition commission to require the government to cancel the proposals immediately At that time, the National Government did not hope to bring about large turbulence in society because of trivial matters Therefore, the leader of the Health Ministry declared publicly that as long as he was the leader, he would not approve the proposals so the second protest ended up with the success of the Traditional Chinese Medicine doctors and then the Traditional Chinese Medicine doctors recognized the day as the National Medicine Festival of the Traditional Chinese Medicine. The third time happened in 1950 after the foundation of the new China the representatives in favour of the abolishment of the Traditional Chinese Medicine during the Republic of China , Yu Yunxiu, put forward a draft during the job meeting of the national health the draft was about the procedure on how to reform the old medical system He turned abolishment into reform in this proposal There were two vice presidents, Wang Bin and He Cheng, working along with him. they even said that the Traditional Chinese Medicine represented the Feudal Society. This declaration emphasized the necessity of reforming the medicine of the Feudal Society. This event ended up when Chairman Mao deposed the two vice presidents and put forward that the Traditional Chinese Medicine and the Western Medicine should be combined this time the Traditional Chinese Medicine had another victory. It was not until 1982 when China published the Constitution which pointed that our country developed both the Modern Medicine and the Traditional Chinese Medicine that the Traditional Chinese Medicine received equal treatment as the Western Medicine. The fourth happened in 2005 On 30th March, 2005, the China Youth Daily published an article named<being poisoned to death gradually like this> The article mentioned that herbs entered America as foods and then threatened the health of Americans gradually In the following two years this author wrote many articles to attack the Traditional Chinese Medicine constantly, which referred to the Traditional Chinese Medicine as pseudo-science In cooperation with that, a professor in Zhong Nan University wrote an article called farewell to the Traditional Chinese Medicine and moved forward to write the article called the four benefits brought to us if the Traditional Chinese Medicine withdrawn from the national health system and instigated the signature in favour of the abolishment of the Traditional Chinese Medicine Of course it ended up with failure. Ultimately, the health secretary stood out to speak in favour of the Traditional Chinese Medicine and this event came to an end the above are the four storms of abolishing the Traditional Chinese Medicine ,which draw much attention. In fact the comments of many celebrities had posed threat to the Traditional Chinese Medicine. who attacked Traditional Chinese Medicine to some extent had posed threat to the Traditional Chinese Medicine. the abolishment of the Traditional Chinese Medicine can be dated back to the abolishment of Chinese Medicine in Japan. Japanese representatives went to America to study during the Monbusho in 1875 and signed the contract to abolish the Chinese Medicine The contract stipulated that one had to pass all the examinations of physics, Chemistry anatomy, physiology ,Pathology ,medicine and Pharmacy. or he could not get the professional certificate So only those with the certificate of Western Medicine had the ability to prescribe and finally the Chinese Medicine in Japan was more dead than alive. At that time ,most of the intellectuals went to Japan to further their sduty and brought back the opinions against the Traditional Chinese Medicine to China People like Zhang Taiyan, Liang Qichao, Lu Xun all once advocated the abolishment of the Traditional Chinese Medicine It is obvious from the above that they lack knowledge about the Traditional Chinese Medicine and that the modern science could not explain the mystery of the Traditional Chinese Medicine. the attack toward the Traditional Chinese Medicine had never stopped We can infer that in the future there will still be much attention to the Traditional Chinese Medicine . So to popularizing the truth of the Traditional Chinese Medicine is urgent The continuous development and improvement of its own is of equal importance. Ok, let's stop here.
