Probably the best course in this overall very nice specialization
This course is definitely not for beginners and students must have previous lab experience (in my opinion). It is a great course to get your feet wet in new techniques that you have not performed yet.
Very useful course in order to learn the basics in systems biology. You only need some training in biology to understand the concepts but the course is easy to follow and very complete.
New to systems biology and I am really impressed with the clear explanations. Currently, on week 4 but aiming to finish to the end. Thanks to the dude who made it! :) #lifesaver
It was a good review of various tools, but maybe it was to many tools. I think it would be nice to show a smaller number of tools, but make more reproducible showcases
Great foundational material and insights from Prof. Iyengar that supports the 'disruptive' trends underway at the intersection of Computational Biology and Medicine.
It's a challenging subject. Don't expect to walk away from the course with a complete grasp of systems biology. However, this course is a fantastic place to start.

How long does it take to complete the Systems Biology and Biotechnology Specialization?
Time to completion can vary based on your schedule, but most learners are able to complete the Specialization in 12 months.
What background knowledge is necessary?
Some college-level cell and molecular biology, basic statistics and calculus.
Do I need to take the courses in a specific order?
The first (Introduction to Systems Biology) and last course (Integrated Analysis in Systems Biology) should be taken in sequence. There is flexibility in taking the middle three courses. These courses may be taken in any sequence, but are best taken in the order listed.
Will I earn university credit for completing the Systems Biology and Biotechnology Specialization?
